Thanks mate - one of the side effects of a 30 second long exposure (opaque IR filter).
The best,
Michael

Lovely! The texture is fantastic.

Lovely. If I had to nitpick, a less bright sky area may have worked. Love the selective focus. Cheers, Michael

Hopefully the photographs that accompany this one in whatever series they use it for will make it more obvious that is the product being pitched =) For my part, the thing that stood out was the skin itself. Just my very subjective view here, but the lighter skin might look more flattering with white rather than black. Cheers.

Excellent! It might be equally cool in black and white too, especially if you worked with the channels to get a bunch of contrast between the blue and grey sections of the car. Cheers!

Great subject matter. I might have liked more detail in the right side of the water, but it does provide some great contrast here. Might also have enjoyed more of the child's reflection. I might not have thought that if not for the small but just right of the reflection at the bottom, my eye was drawn to that little smidge.
Great shot, had to work hard to find things to mention =)

Very striking colors. Her face could probably do with some smoothing and darkening if that sort of thing fits within your ethics, but it certainly doesn't need it.
Great shot.

Very cool subject matter. Looks like it might be good in vertical form (might have been shot this way) too. Good shooting.

Definitely accomplished your goal. You might try decentralizing the subject or even skewing it so the windmill seems to grow from the corner somewhat to give height an even more dynamic feel.
Great tonality. Cheers!

Really fantastic shot mate - the parasites make it amazing. You might check out some of Charles Chien's work if you haven't. In my opinion, its the tertiary things that make macro stand out as amazing, for sure.
Look forward to more =)

Yes, the story is that the Eisenstadt was shot multiple times.....but with different women as the sailor walked down the road kissing every woman he could get his hands on. Apples and oranges - the only thing similar here is the sailor outfit and the period automobile.
Street photography is a completely different animal than sets, taking very different skills and considerations. Getting wrapped up in comparing the two really isn't much different than macro shots and nudes, seeing as how the insects don't wear clothes =)

Personally speaking, I think a level adjustment could help the image's depth and make the fogline stand out. At a quick glance, creating a circular gradient selection in the centerish and adjusting black point down would be where I would start.
May be completely a matter of taste though. Nice work.
