Fierce tension. You could even soften the face a tiny bit more - ?
-
You really captured her trust in you with your camera as well as her perturbation.
-
Like the composition, but maybe dim the flaring lights a bit...
-
Did you intensify the color? I like the crop.

Fantastic! Looks like Matrix-cat. Have you ever seen the book "Mourka"? Great b/w photographs by Martha Swope - the "autobiography" of George Balanchine's cat Mourka, known for his balletic superleaps. It's by Balanchine's wife, Tanaquil Le Clerc. (Out of print I think.)
-
Sense of foreboding; very well captured.
-
Composition's lovely. Only wish the figures were slightly more defined.
-
Any impressions happily noted.

Shailesh - this 1940s era camera has no shutter speed or aperture features, just a manual shutter switch: i.e. however long I hold my finger down for. This was about 1 second if I remember. Lens is not removable/50mm.

Fantastic capture. Looks like one of George Herriman's "Krazy Kat" characters.

From a class assignment (36 images of the same object). The perfect
subject. You can see the folder

Well done. The perspective puts the viewer in the position of the person following; I like the tension too.

Nice abstract quality. The angle is puzzling at first glance but after I saw the shape of the glass it made more sense. The oil's color is nicely augmented by the lighting. What kind of lights did you use? I don't find the text distracting, seems just right, but if it wasn't there the background would be perhaps too flat. Well done.

I like the knee... wish a little more of the top of her head was in the shot.
Your images are superfine, very distinctive.
-
I like the composition, think it is fine without feet. Really like the negative space.
-
Makes me wonder where he is - what is the building?
-
Yes, I think your use of people in the background helps the composition. Her gaze is direct and focused, her body still, and the sense of motion behind her adds tension. I like the idea of portraits with the subject not alone in the frame.

Alexandru, I like the image and the cropping. I used a sunflower for a class assignment - 36 photos of one thing. The flower definitely inspired the images. You can see them here. Anthropomorphic Sunflower: folder

Is it winter hazel? Beautiful complex form to confuse the eye.
