    Jim,

Knowing your intent in much of your work is to evoke an emotional response from the viewer, I find this particular image instantly brings the thought of contortion into my mind with the right arm / hand in the near field of view and uncomfortably positioned.  After my initial reaction of viewing, I'm then attracted to her facial expression as I find it very interesting, perhaps because it conveys in my eyes her focused energy to achieve what you are trying to accomplish here with this pose.    An interesting image that I enjoyed viewing!!

  1. Art X,

Thanks for the feedback - I certainly don't mind the critique and appreciate the assessment.  It certainly is a challenge to track, maintain focus, maintain long lens stabilization and be ready for what your subject decides to do!  Thanks for your comments.

Dramatic in its simplicity of form and contrast in dark and bright color.  Very well thought out concept, vision and photographed.

Nice and relaxed sense here by simply having her (your) ankles crossed.  The fly(?) on the little toe attracts some attention.  Like the white outdoor chairs and table as background - complements the  chill out mood.

Splendid eye level capture of this fly-by!  The distinct landscape in the background really adds to the overall context and excellence of this photo.  Very nice and I enjoyed viewing!!

Beautiful setting for some wedding photographs and this is a very nice positioning of the bride and groom in this spot.  My personal preference on this one image would to have the groom's head /face alittle higher up, perhaps looking at her.  Lovely light and positioning of the bride and groom (other than my head comment).

You've made an interesting composition here by including the lines of the walkway (and reflection) to provide some geometric form and a human element with the kayakers in the background.  Enjoyed viewing and studying! Nice eye.

  2. Visually interesting and eye catching composition with the lines formed by the rows in the vineyards leading to the rolling hills nicely textured with the shadowing.  I would have either included a bit more of skyline or crop it completely out of your scene.  Still a nice composition and point of view from your camera!
