Interesting how the water turned a bit green just after the fog
lifted. Thanks for your comments.

Thanks Scott! Not much PS. Just some specks of dust and one "crinkle." The original print is really nice for it's age. The gal in the photo is my aunt -- my Mom kept this photo all these years. My aunt (shown in the photo) is now 82.

Are historical photos such as this Vacuum Tube manufacturing process
interesting to anyone not old enough to "remember when?"

Thanks for your comments....

Snap shot down the center isle with a wide angle lens. Didn't expect to get much here.
Actually didn't give it much thought until I had the film processed! Comments
welcome. Thanks.

If you've been along the Oregon coast, you know the wind problem. I was afraid to use
a tripod because the wind would have probably blown it over!

Thanks for the comments -- it's the Transamerica building in downtown San Francisco.

Why not shoot from in tight and straight up?

Spotted this opportunity while parking the car in a parking garage at
Pier 39, San Francisco. Wild guess -- put the camera on manual, F-5.6
and set for 10 seconds exposure. Surprise!

Toby, Thanks for the comments. The camera was level on a tripod. This is a fairly tight crop of a fairly wide shot. Looking at the lines in PS, they are not dead on -- but not too far off. Fortunately the day I shot this (July 4, 1987), the temp in Phoenix was 118. That kept the traffic to almost zero. Had lots of time to set up. The tripod was set up in the center lane of the main drag in Phoenix. The time was about 4 P.M. The building faces north and there are only a few days a year that the north side lights up this way. Fun project. Thanks...

I took this image in 1987. Just the other day I tried to take another
shot of it but security approached and wanted to take my film
(unexposed!). I was on a public street so I declined and offered to
leave -- but didn't give them my film. Anyone else running into these
kinds of problems?

Hand held, long exposure, old camera, sometimes works fine. Comments
please? Thanks.

Leaning in the window without touching the hardware is difficult!
