I totally agree with Les. If I may I would suggest to increase a tad contrast (I've tried blending the layer with itself Soft Light 19/25%).

David, yes..., that place has a real old fashion shop charme and it isn't that easy to find shops where dogs are allowed to lie on the front desk, but Leo is really well mannered!

Hi David, thanks for stopping and commenting. Rocco looks a bit bluish bcause shadows appear blue on a white dog as you say but also, because I've "neutralized" him (via blur->average) at 30%.
