Seems rather like painting from 1800.... Nice scene. Somebody mentioned Jane Eyre - I have to agree. Anyway, very nice composition and soft tonal rendition makes this shot exeptional.

It is rather effect of infrared film.

Laye afternoon in small village close to the city of Cusco in Peru, 3400m

altitude. Shooted on infrared film (Ilford SFX 200). Comments - opinions?

Incredible contrast of climates, altitudes and ecosystems make Peru very

attractive for landscape photography. This shot shows a beautiful green valley

in the middle of desert on about 600m over sea level while the glacier

covered hill on the horizon line is the volcano Coropuna with iceberg cover in

over 6000m altitude. It is just 5400m of great photographic opportunities

between..... Opinions welcome!

Every days fog advancing from sea into the interior of the city stopping on the

first mountain chain before La Molina part of the city where I live. I had to

climb about 600m high and pretty steep hill in order to reach this point but the

view was just great and deserved that effort. Opinions and comments are

welcome.

Wonderful shot, I like contrast of snow with red color of blood and flesh. So natural and so wild, nice composition too.

You should push the horizon line bit more up - too much sky?

Too low perspective resulting in "falling" trees.

Horizon placed in middle is why I rated this shot 3/3. Just changing the angle a bit you could get much better composition! Sorry
