  1. <p>Thanks Karim,<br />Yes, there is a lot of technology in optics, and they move in steps (I just updated the article a little on this; how they got new technology in the 1960's, 70's and 90's and today).<br /><br />What I find most interesting, and what sets Leica apart, is the human decisions over technology. That is it not a computer making a best lens, but humans making decisions which parts to keep and which to change. </p> <div></div>
