Male black bear (brown color) following his mate. Yellowstone N.P.

Just Perfect. The backlit leaves give it such a 3 dimensional feel.

Any comments welcome.

Beautiful color, lighting and composition; perfect depth of field; what else can I say. Well done.

Great composition and color. As mentioned above, a little more light in the upper left corner would help, but that is a minor thing. This is an outstanding photo.

Taken at the Lakota Wolf Preserve in New Jersey

Mating pair of black bears playing in a meadow in Yellowstone.

Nicely done. If I could only get my girls to sit still long enough for a shot like this. Did you use a diffuser filter? There seems to be a bit of a hazy glow to the picture, which adds to the overall effect.

As a former soccer player, I have just one question. Where the heck is the goalkeeper? He should be all over this ball. Anyway, nice shot. I know how hard it can be to time action shots when shooting soccer games. (Playing the game is easier!)

I was the only one at the tiger exhibit one cold day and so I had
his full attention. Comments welcome.

Great timing. It looks like everyone is having a good time.

Love it! I have had horses race my car at this time of night in Montana, and watching the sparks fly off of their hooves when they step on rocks is amazing to see. Still nothing compared to this photo. Nice going.

Nice job with the exposure to keep the details in the whites. I know how difficult that can be.

If you look closely in the fox's eyes, you'll see the relection of the sea and sky. But it's the sea gull that really has his attention. (LOL--just running with it.)

all comments, suggestions welcome. thanks

Nice shot! I am continually amazed at the quality of macro shots taken with today's compact digital cameras. For anyone looking to attract butterflies and these critters, plant Mexican sunflowers (like the one above)this spring. You can't miss.

Great metalic feel to this shot. This is another shot my father would love (see windmill farm) since he is a gear designer.
-
Great composition. There may be a little extra space on the left and top that could be cropped. My father would love this picture because he designed the gearing for the hubs of these types of windmills. Nice shot.

John, I had a hunch that moving to the left was not an option. I should have mentioned that in my first comment. It's still a very compelling image. Well done.
