The subject of this shot is spoiled by the poor composition and the "falseness" of the spiders's hairs.
You have a great eye for a shot, but the finished product is poorly cropped and has a poor looking finish.
I will look forward to seeing more of your work as you can obviously see a potential winner.
Keep going

This a great moving photo of a lost soul - what gives you the right to deem his life as pathetic.
This captures life at its saddest, great work (not sure about the release form ......)

Great Comp, soft picture and a wonderful time to capture.
I like this a lot..

I'd hang this on my wall with pride
Thanks for sharing as always.

Again Emil you capture the pure vulnerability of the girl, love the toning of the the background - would have liked a little more light on the right, but its a great portrait.
She has an uncanny resemblence to Diana ...?

The thumbnail looked horrible - so I thought I make a comment - what a nice surprise. viewed larger this is a really nice image - like the the Man said - nice "breath of fresh air" feeling.
It does have a slightly composite feel to it.

Lighting is fantastic, creates a really moody shot, tells me poverty, she looks sad - great.
I agree with pingu, a tiny bit less crop at the bottom, but it doesn't spoil a great composition

I like the rawness of this series - I have 5 kids and this moment is a treasure - you captured the pain and joy through these 4 images of a very private event, thanks for sharing....
..... I hope you downed to camera to offer support and share the moment (my assumption is that this is your lady ?) ;-)

I love these types of real-life portraits, and I love industrial/architectural works.
This guy tells me about how tough his life is and where he works.
The tones and lights are spot on - one of the most deserving POW I've seen for some time (not taking anything from the rest....)
More please - soon.

This is a good shot, maybe if it was shot from a slightly higher angle to level the line of the tree bases it would appear that you were looking through the tree.....Just my thoughts. still a nice shot .

I agree, blend the wire out, and shoot from the "bottom" and close in a little to capture the mechanical parts.
Shot works for me - I love old machinery esp. in B&W.
-
I like the set of this photo, i agree the shadow to your right creates a void, but it also adds something to the whole mood of the work.
I think your toes are lovely......

Excellent - I love the dramatic scene bilding behind the tree

Great image, love the lighting effect and the feeling of depth.
The Way - makes me think of the book "Eon" the image is how I imagine the singularity....
Nice portfolio too
