I believe fill-flash was used (there're hints of "red-eye" flash reflections on the eyes and on the apple). Aside from that, It's nicely exposed, although maybe abit on the bright side. I think it would have been even nicer w/just ambient light & w/o use of flash.

Are you sure you used a shutter speed of 1/750 sec?
I used 1/320 sec and 1/400 sec shutter speeds and I was able to pretty much freeze the wing action on my hummingbird pics. So I would think 1/750 sec would have freeze it even better and have it not look blurred out like in yours.

Was just there today. I, too, notice the interesting perspectives of this particular display.

overexposed and soft. Still nice :]

Sharp and technically sound picture. Just doesn't hold my attention though. Perhaps what really turn me off is somehow this picture almost carries with it an advertising sales tone like that seen in motocycle magazines. POW status as a technically good picture is understandable; but as an piece of photographic art - it is very questionable. Personally, this is the kind of pictures that I wouldn't mind seeing less of.

I like it. A little more foreground would be more interesting.

Nice and clean picture. Would have been nice if it was sharper. OK now, 'fess up, what aftermarket lens did u use? (just kidding)

Closer shot would add more impact. Image also appears not sharp. Was the IS feature employed in this shot? or was it your scanner? If the IS feature was used and not because of your scanner - it didn't seem to work.

For a picture like this, I think deeper DOF will add more impact and hold attention longer...
