These little ones are usually the hardest to catch because they're so "skittish", but you got a nice capture here. Very sharp and colorful, and against a nice neutral gray background. Very nice - what lens did you use ?

Nice job! I got to borrow a 80-400vr for a week recently, and tried desparately for shots like these for hours at a local wetlands. They weren't even worth scanning - But yours ...

Great catch. You caught an excellent pose here for sure. I don't know how you get so close to these birds. Are you also using teleconverters with your 100-400? Never mind, I just realized you're using digital (conversion factor). -
This is really nice. Really crystal clear. Well done. You must have been pretty close with your 400 to get a great shot like this...
