  1. Remember when there was a great decision whether to buy Apple or IBM?

    well the IBM won out with the software being leaning in their favor. Canon is a great camera no doubt,I own a D60, but watch out for the Foveon technology, mark my word Canon will soon follow suite. It makes more sense. I have debated on whether or not to purchase the SD9 or waite for the second generation, maybe a 6mp giving 18 mgpix.

    would that be great or what? Hear rumor of the same! I have in all seriousness look and concidered buying. Their Photos look great in the reviews. It's your decision, and I think you will make a good one.

  2. Wal-mart sells cool tubes of several Kevin temperatures, I have been thinking on the same terms, so I purchased the fixtures and the daylight bulbs of 48" length and diffused with a frosty shower curtain and it works fine. one problem is the catchlight is not the most ravishing.<div>005ZYu-13722684.thumb.jpg.37693881d6c3aa108208c986bb6c2542.jpg</div>
  3. Thanks for the reply, I took a few shots today with the Russian 80mm

    lens, I'll post one. I know that these lens are not top of the line but for $59 bucks what a bargain for the quality of finished product.

    I am a poor boy with little bucks and must stretch as much as possible. The Arsat f/2.8 80mm makes a great portrait lens with the

    D60's conversion factor rendering it a 128mm ;lens.<div>0054ts-12661084.thumb.jpg.d7bd8a36ee6c37ab2710bcd2aad6fa63.jpg</div>

  4. I have been fooling around with different lens held up to the D60

    with foam spacers, especially with medium format lens Bronica, Kiev

    with great results. I ordered an adapter to use my Kiev lens on the

    D60, you just have to manually focus and set your aparture. I'll post

    some of the test for to see as soon as I learn how and where.

    I would like to know if any of you guys or gals have tried this,

    using fourth party lens.

  5. Arax Photo makes adapters for almost anything, I have a X-370 that I am using Russian medium format lens of 150mm that has the best coverage you've seen and the sharpest image also. You can also use the

    great Carl Ziess Jena lens for the medium format that comes with a

    Pentacon six camera, lots of them on e-bay to be had for around 150.00

  6. bought one from Mike at Kievcamera and shot 5 rolls of film now it is broken and sitting on the shelf. a piece of crap in my book, should have purchased a Kiev 60, didn't need so manyfilm backs. I am going to use the lens that I purchased on my Minolta 35mm X-370 as soon as

    I can get the adapters from mike.
