I'm planning to use a flip-flash bracket (stroboframe) but it's can't attach a

soft box or umbella like alzo. (I think alzo is too big.)

Now I use SB-800 and it's included a SW-10 but I think with this diffuser is not

soft enough, Do you suggest an other? Or the soft diffuser in a picture better?<div></div>

I don't know why you choose 30D but read me.

Canon 30D was 1,324 USD (body only) in Adorama,

Nikon D200 was 1,699 USD it's true.

But I think you not know D200 can use Creative Lighting Flash, this system get you wireless TTL flash. In the canon side you need to change your SB-600 and go to Canon EX flash that you loose some of your money and then if you need to play wireless TTL flash you'll need to buy Canon ST-E2 for a function with.

That ST-E2 was pricing on 199.95 USD, worth to switch?

Last, with Nikon CLS you can use D200 pop up to fill-in flash but 30D + ST-E2 isn't!!

I have try it's, result was better than I test with ISO 400 and develop it in 20 munites.

Rapid fixer

Water 50c (125f) - 500 ml.

Sodium Thiosulfate (HYPO) - 200 g.

Ammoium Choride - 85 g.

Sodium Sulphite - 19.6 g.

Potassium Alum - 19.6 g.

Cold water to make 1 L.

I wanna tell you I never care about lens was sharp or wasn't.

DC have 1 stop faster but not easy to use or control a DC and it's fix focal lenght not easy to compose when you taking about event. But I like it's effect, I think DC is a tripod or if you need to set the scene to take a photo. DC was great portrait when you have a time to take a photo unlike event. (I sold it's cause a loving on Ai-S 105 f/1.8.)

VR was 1 stop slower but with VR I can shoot 70 f/4 at 1/8 and get a sharp image, all of my telephoto can't do this. I sell VR out cause I don't shoot event much. VR is easy to control and AF-S is very accuracy but a cost to repair when it's rotten is high. (but not very high like canon, my friend tell when USM of 85 f/1.2 death you can get 1 of EF 85 f/1.8 cost to repair.)

I don't know how dot is appear to your bokeh, but your photo need to crop image tighten if your take about portrait. And you should bend the knee for lower angle of view.

I have D100 and S3Pro before but I think too much. now I have a lot of camera and think too much cause all cost of film that I take since I sold digital it's can buy a D2X camera...

I have 70-300 Tamron it's can't beat my Nikkor AF 75-300 in every way. (I'm not try 70-300 ED, I has sold Nikkor AF 75-300 cause now I have 70-180 micro and Nikkor is easy to sell out unlike Tamron.)

note : I have try D-25 with Forte 400 (20 c, 25 munite agitate 5

sec. every 30 sec.) it's seem to be higher contrast than D-23 and D-

76 (I think it very high contrast developer!), grain is fine but

easy to see when you enlarge it in large size than D-23 and D-76.
