This picture is pretty true to the negative. I had to photoshop the eye a little because I
lost all detail when scanning on my cheap flatbed. The goose is standing on a rock
and there were lots of others and ducks around and pesky little kids throwing food at
them creating disturbances. I printed this out myself in my darkroom.

Even though I knew there would be thousands of this image from Saturday night I
wanted to do this for the pure enjoyment of it. I'm glad I did.

His mother hated this picture.

This is a nice shot. Pretty colors, glass like water. Nice job. I am always impressed with the images I see on Photo.net taken with the Canon G3/5 cameras.

It's not a bad picture. The light looks like it was tough, contrasty. If he had been more in the shade it would have been a little easier for you. Crop of the the right bright side of the picture and it may be better. This would have been a good time to try different metering modes on the camera(the black fur). I've never tried to take a picture of a giant monkey before, maybe that was the only time it sat still, but if you could have waited for eye contact the picture would have greater impact. And maybe take the shot in vertical format too, just to see.
Good luck and keep shooting and posting.
Sincerely,
Chris

paola, do you live there? If you can revisit this scene, wait for a day with nice even light and reshoot.

Dear Tim,
this is a fun photograph to look at. There is so much to see. Good job.

This is a great photograph. I recommend cropping about a 1/4 inch off of the left side. The blury hair is a little distracting from the eyes.

Fantastic. Ican't wait to see how you handle the DOF. I admire you for two reasons. 1. You really worked hard and refined your idea. I noticed you posted a lot recently. 2. You made a studio in your bathroom and exercised good technique. Proof that your imagination and knowledge can outshoot someone just throwing money at equipment.

Ok Hotshot. Let's see you handle this shot from the perspective of the bottle pointing at the viewer. ;)

The clouds in this picture are awesome. I think the tree in the upper right detracts from the shot. I also wished you had used a tripod. After I read your technical details I had a good laugh. Under the circumstances you did an admirable job.

Maria,
I really like this. Texture, the monotone the crop, I like it all. Do you mind if I steal that pose?

Is that another little bug walking around his feet? Do grasshoppers have feet? Nice job.

Great shot. is the second rainbow above the pyramid?

This is a beautiful shot with a mood that I can't put my finger on the right adjective for. I usually don't go for sillohettes but this one really turns me on. The cloud pattern and the reflection give it so much depth. By any chance did you take the same shot without the filters? I would love to see the difference.

This is awesome. Maybe you could make the horizontal level.

I'm glad you included the technical details. It is rare to see the moon with the star burst effect due to the small aperture. Most of these shots, though usually, a skyline are either a double exposure or insert a moon with Photoshop. I love it.
Could you see the moonlight on the water or was that a nice surprise?

Great picture. Nice example of technique. Many may not realize that you used a simple point and shoot 2 megapixel camera to get a superior picture.

That is a very cool shot. The colors look great. The skin , sand, blue shirt all look so natural. I would prefer it with just the man throwing the frisbee. But do not take offense, I think it is very good.

The Red, Green, Blue theme is nice.

I agree with the comments about the sun. However, I still enjoy this shot very much. The thing I like best is that I thought this picture was taken in the summer time until I looked closer. It was a pleasant surprise.
