1.
There is a company that offers this service for ten years, for one time fee of $ 30 to photographers.

 2.
the same sign William mentions the way the G glows is cool.

 3.
Having some fun. D300s 1/60 f4 iso 400 lens 12-24 at 12mm
processing is a custom in camera preset, i think nothing done to this except resize.

 4.
I did a night shot like that years ago. The other photography and i played with aperture shutter speed and iso until we got the look then he went in and moved the bride and groom into the spot we wanted them.
recently I've been using an einstein light powered by a battery / ac converter combo for similar reasons. I place the light near the dance floor with a 40 degree honeycomb. i like the added drama of the light and doesn't seem to get noticed by guest as much as other methods.

 5.
Marc, do you use moonlights or speed light for your off camera light?
I've used both. In big rooms I like the more powerful lights but set up is so much speedier with speedlight.

 6.
First birthday party.
kids entertainer. it is amazing how well cameras can handle mixed light. I'm guessing this is mostly daylight but there is tungsten, flo and other lighting as well some of it with weird shades. i wish i had another click at higher shutter speed, i'm not sure I like the blur in the hands.
More important than picture is how i got job. I met Grandma many years ago when the newspaper I photographed for did a story about her art. That turned into her daughter's wedding, her son's wedding, now his daughters birthday, and other events not mentioned here. Delivering quality and service consistently is an investment in the future of your business.

 7.
If the product isn't worth $3 a month don't get it.

 8.
Instead of just whining about this all the time, like the old timers that we older replaced we need to learn from the newer photographers. Example i was told constantly by pros square format F16 with potato masher flash mounted on giant rig was the way pros did weddings nothing else acceptable. I shot circles around those old farts. Then it was digital, "pros don't use digital" i killed em, i could burn dodge retouch and print quicker and better than they did. Yes, most of these new photographers don't know the difference between an f stop and a bus stop, but they are beating us in ways we don't understand. Other than price, because i will not work for peanuts, we need to figure out what they are doing to beat us and learn from it.

 9.
Try calling again, ask if there is anything she can get you in time for family to see together at Christmas. If still nothing it is time to talk with small claims court or a lawyer.

 10.
the best solution for an ultra white dress in the sun that i have tried is. (oh i hate saying this) Nikon has What they call Active D lighting you need to ( i really hate this part) take camera off manual exposure to use i think Nikon recommends A or P but S also works

 11.
I've been on both sides sides as well, but when I never second shot as a trainee. If you are offering top end packages you should hire professionals that fit the job, that are good enough that they deserve to be paid. I usually work alone, when I do need someone it is because I can't be two places at once, or a venue is difficult to work alone. I use second shooters that I know well and trust, and could easily do a wedding own their own. I have never minded the photographers i hire using some photos in portfolio even if it is online. They all already are established so it's great if they get something good enough to put in their portfolio since i get to sell it. I just ask that they wait a few weeks to use them.

 12.
before you can get business liability insurance you need to create the business. most states you can start the process online. but follow william's advice and consult the three experts before creating business. it is a big commitment.

 13.
Oliver most labs handle SRGB files quite well. On the other side unless advances have been made, when they put an adobe rgb file on facebook or somewhere you great work will not look so good.

 14.
I have set the calibration saturation levels, tone curve and noise reduction for each camera and iso to settings i generally like as lightroom defaults for each camera at each iso. it gets me to where i have to do no adjustments between import and proof more often.

 15.
Hope they don't ask. Remember this is art, what the two of them think is good may be very different from your ideas.

 16.
Ask the person you are replacing. Keep similar to what they would have done.

 17.
Isn't time you come out of the greenhouse and use your name?
What is it you are hiding from?
