Ricardo, many thanks for your help! I have also received the original Minox wiring layout from Don (he's a great guy!) at D.A.G. Camera Repair, which helped me a lot (unfortunately it's only on paper, so I can't show you). Visit his web-site www.dagcamera.com
Now, the only thing stopping me from using the repaired beauty is a rod coupling the release button with the shutter (this I can probably make myself, but there are some other small parts too). But I'm patient, I've found another 35 EL, perfectly working, (a bargain of course).
One of the pleasures with old cameras is not to find the perfect mint condition specimen, only to put it on the shelf. It is to find a "wreck" and make it working and use it.

Does any one know where to get a service or repair manual for a Minox
35 EL? I found a no-working one at a flea market and it was a
bargain. Now it's all dismounted and someone's been here before me!
That bastard cut and removed all the wiring to the shutter. No wonder
it didn't work....
So if no manual, I'm in need of some information about the wiring
inside the lens. There are seven leads, too many to do it by chance.

How to repair defective aperture on Minox 35 MB?
in Minox/Miniature

Have you solved your problem with the stuck aperture? Anyhow, I've experience a similar problem on a 35 ML. I took off the aperture ring (three very small screws on the outer perifiery. Be careful and note the position of the ring when lifting it off the lens). Under the ring there are some screws holding the lensmount. One of them hade unscrewed itself and blocked the aperture ring (why don't Minox use screwlock?)
