Last autumn in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales.
Thanks for looking,
Adam.

Just have a quick suggestion that may improve the image slightly. A slight crop off the darker area at the bottom would I think throw more attention onto the wonderful mid and background. I might crop to a little bit below the bright golden tree.
Just a thought.

Oh, this is the best of the bunch for me. I love the combination of mist and sunlight, as well as the compression effect of the longer lens. A very special shot.

Hi Martin,
I've never seen this scenery before. It is absolutely stunning - I would never have guessed this was Germany. Excellent viewpoint here, and very well captured.

Remarkable landscape, and photographed really well here. Love the rich natural autumnal colours.

Hi Marek,
An absolutely spectacular sky and reflection in this image. I would have really loved to see at least a few of those bergs closer to the foreground, but I guess there was not much you could do about that. Still a very strong shot as is.

Thanks for your comments both. It is difficult to answer your question Jairo, but suffice to say both these icebergs were monstrous. At a guess I would say our ship was half the height of the nearest berg. Length wise, its even more difficult to gauge, but probably ten times longer than the ship. They certainly were awe-inspiring to witness, and out of this world. It was a privilidge to visit Antarctica.

Adam.

Hi Clayton,
I entered the competition a couple of years back - the year Marc won I think. I think I might have entered this picture, but if not then I might enter again. I think its all digital uploads now, so much easier than previous sending off a print to Canada.
Thanks for the tip,
Adam.

Hi Clayton,
Thanks for your comment. It was the only time Ive ever been there, so judging by your message yes I guess I was very fortunate.
You certainly do live in a lovely place!!

Thanks for your comment Jim. It is unmanipulated, I just grow tired of filling in all the boxes when uploading.
