Hi Juan,
Happy New Year and thank you a lot for this advice.
I just was curious about. I do have Hasselblad 500 C/M with 50, 80 and 150 for serious work.
I wanted to use it with rolleiflex for my street shots where I need wide. It seemed to me perfect combination rollei+roleikin 16 (55x45) and wide converter.
Darko

Thank you John. I have tried this converters but I am not satesfied. They are fitting (Bay 1) but I have infinity focusing problem.

Does anybody has experience using yashinon tele/wide converters on Rolleiflex T. Is there any problems with focusing ? Somewhere I have read that yashica convetrers will not focus on any other bodies properly. Please help.

I have G1 and also Leica M2 and Leica CL, (also have some Leica`s R) . I can tell that G1 is a joy to use, and it is camera (with 45/2 ,21/2.8 and 90/2.8) I am using very much. If I had to decide between Leica and G1 it would be hard decision, G1 wins as it has perfect exposure measuring system and wonderfull lenses. AF issue can`t hurt so much. The only real downside is repairing problem.

I have two of them (16,5 cm/4,5 and 13,5 cm/4,5). Both are very nice performers, quite sharp but not so much contrasty. Mines are in compur shutter and I can use them alone. I also have Sinar cameras and I am using Sinar copal shutter so I can mount them on lensboard (16,5cm is using lensboard #2 and 13,5 cm is using #1).
Just be carefull. If you can dismount glasses from shutter and get clear them you can dramatically improve contrast on your lens.
..darko

1 - do not forget reset the camera before every shot (keep your standards verticaly, and return to zero position shift-tilt-swing before composing every new frame)
2- check exposure setting before you shot - fire one in advance before you remove the slide on film holder just to be sure that exposure is set properly.
3 - do not be affraid to use older lenses

Just pick up these two lenses, very hard to find some information about. I have Rodenstock Eurynar 4,5/13,5 cm and I have collect some information, would like to know is 16.5 cm simmilar. For 16.5 cm there is not a word in collectors vadameccum? Serial refers that it was made between 1920-1930. Voigtlander Heliar is also verys nice. Pleae help with some more informations.

I have: Leica M2, Leica CL, Bessa R3A, Contax G1, with a lot of lenses, and everyone does a special job, you can not mixture apples and pears. Actually you can enjoy advantage of any, when you need silent shot you will take M2, when you need fast reaction and hip shot you will take CL, when you want compose and have a time to take a shot you will go for Bessa, and when you need clean, cold sharp shot, and you know that AF will not affect the qualitty you will go for Contax. I love them all at the same level. Never find any need to get a final verdict. Love them all with their weakness and strong points.

Several days ago I got never used Pentacon Six with 3 lenses, Biometar 80/2.8, Flektogon 50/4 and Sonnar 180/2.8.
I was so happy. It was really minty condition, like I said never used. First roll was OK, I do some shots with Sonnar
180/2.8 on Delta 3200, I do also some shots with EFKE 50 and Biometar and Rollei 400 Infrared + Flektogon. I never
realized that something is wrong. Then I decide to go out with new toy and took every three lenses with me and only
efke 50. After developing I was surprised. Films with sonnar and flektogon had serious light leaks on every frame
while some frames with biometar had no light leaks and some had. I have tried to inspect my pentacon and could not
find anything what will tell me why this has happened. Leaks where exactly on the same places, on the top and on
the bottom of the frame, somewhere about half distance from the start of the frame. Does anybody have idea or same
experience or have advice for solution
thanx in advance

I tought that S2 sensor has been developed by Kodak which has been working with Leica since M8 and Modul-R..that`s why I ask myself this queastion.

Yashinon tele/wide on rolleiflex T
in Medium Format
Posted

Hi Juan,
Thank you a lot for your experiences, I am very glad to hear what and how it works for you. I had and also have a lot of equipment that I love to use for my shots. (I had also rollei 35 and I know what kind of fine pictures it takes). For my street photography I used to have Leica`s (M&R), Contax G1, Minolta (7IIs), Yashica`s (Lynx and GSN), also small digital cameras (Nikon 5000 & 5700). MF format is exciting for street also and sometimes I carry Hasselblad to. My Rolleiflex T is light camera and with rolleikin 16 it produces images 55x40 mm that is exciting for me. It is also very quiet and you can come so close. So I need something wide for shots with rollei. That was idea. For my other photos I am using large format (Sinar 4x5 and 5x7) , and digital Canon 40 which I can combine with Leica R lenses.
Thank you Juan for your words and sharing your experience. Warm regards from Croatia. :-))
