  1. I have been recently noticing a good amount of noise being produced

    from my Nikkor 105mm 2.8D Micro/Macro lens during focusing. I don't

believe this noise was as pronounced when I first purchased the lens

and has become more of a problem over the years. Has anyone else

been noticing the same problem with their lens, or is it not a

problem at all and only me being neurotic?

  2. This doesn't quite answer the main question directly. But, I have found that the N90s is one the best film SLR cameras you could ask for. It is an all around star. The autofocus, exposure systems and programs on this camera make it one of the best all around cameras you can find. I have been using mine since I got it as a high school graduation gift in 1999 and it has been a great camera to work with under any circumstances.
