I just checked out your portfolio and needless to say I was blown awway with your work. Awesome, awesome stuff.

As to the ambient lighting, that could be the case, I forgot to mention that it was late afternoon beneath the shade trees.. If you like hummers and want to see some OMG stuff check out this site. I want to take one of his workshops.

Hey thanks for the great comments. I really appreciate the kind words. Actually I caught this little sweetie shooting 1/250 with a 3.1 F. The trick to capturing the wings is due to the Flas, I simply used the on camera flash here and was about 5-6 feet away. Hope this helps...

Thank You for your nice comments, as to the filter question, I had actually forgotten to take off my polorizing filter when I took this, but it was a nice suprise none the less..When I opened it in PSP to take a look , I found the beautiful color range and decided not to do anything other than resize and add the text and borders.
