Giles is right as far as he refers to speed dial set higher than 1/50 ie. to 1/60 or 1/125. But in auto mode of the SF20 flash (!) there is no override, when the speed dial would have been set easily, may be in heavy action, to higher speeds than the minimum sync speed 1/50. Best regards,

"E" is the german abbreviation for "Einschraubgewinde" = screw in thread. "ES" is the german abbreviation for "Einschraubgewinde Steil(e Gewindesteigung)" = screw in thread with steeper thread pitch than normal at the same thread diameter. "E" or "ES" are in-house specifications at B&W only.
I'm a german engineer. May be this is a useful information to you.

Hi thomas, Finland in may is so beautiful! I have been there in lappland, north of arctic circle, several times in feb, mar, apr and may: april and may are quite perfekt for skiing with perfect weather conditions. And in a photografical sense: Stay in any area for at least 3 or 4 days, look around and have fun with the local people, they will tell you a lot (!), and with the beautiful nature.
Take only 50 or 100 asa material with you, there is so much light then. Have a closer look at Kuusamo and the Oulanka National Park north of Kuusamo close to the russian border. Anyway, you somewhere will meet the national 4 north of rovaniemi (visit here the Arctic Museum, please!) to go north for inari.
BTW, I'd recommend to you the following: Take the night train (car transport available) from helsinki (departure ca. 20.00 local) to rovaniemi (arrival ca. 10.00 local next day) or even to kemijoki, rent a car there and spend your time in the north instead on the boring roads in south/middle of finland. Don't hesitate to send an email for further information.
Have fun, best regards
