Thanks for the input, I just got me an AR-3 cable release. The plunger has a lock - to take long exposures.

I have a Nikon N80 with the additional battery pack. I need to take

night exposures that are longer than 30 seconds and the camera goes

up to 30 seconds before flipping into the 'Bulb' mode. Once in the

bulb mode, I have to use a stopwatch and hold the shutter release

depressed - is there anything better that could take longer

exposures - maybe couple of minutes, without me constantly depressing

the shutter release?

Kevin, I need to pay more attention to Fort Worth it seems - it may have more photogenic 'nature' than Dallas.

I did find a way around it - my other camera is an N80, I use that at night and the FE only during the day.

I have an old Nikon FE. I take many of my photographs at night - it

is difficult to read the meter at night - is there some attachments

to aid in this. I dont know if the FE has a backlight.

I wanted to know if there are any websites mentioning recent laws in

the US about taking pictures of buildings and monuments - I like to

take night time shots of sky-scrapers and that happens to be a

big 'no-no' these days.

I'm about to purchase a used AF 70-210. Is it really a worthwile

investment - I already own a 28-105, I need something in the

telephoto end to compliment my lens.
