Wonderful expression on the girls face. The object on the left is close to being maybe a bit distracting but on the other hand it creates a feeling of distance. The tonality in this picture is spot on. This picture makes me smile too :).
-
Beautiful texture in the picture. I also think that depth-of-field is well placed here. I would think that this picture would be good without the toning too. Nice!

Strong contrast fits well to this picture. I like the texture on the road and especially how it is displayed. The sky is a little flat compared to the road, but on the other hand it gives a feeling of sunny day.

So beautiful... Just great colors here and very good use of space.

That's a really strong perspective =). The picture looks almost as if it was mirrored. There seems to be awulf lot a of detail in the picture, but the lens has managed it well.

As I too own D30 at the moment, your great pictures give me new inspiration for go out and shoot with D30! Only few things are one the way.. 1) I like film more atm... 2) I'm planning to go medium format... 3) I don't have lenses for D30 =)).. Keep up the good work and Greetings from rainy Finland!

Definitely eye-capturing picture for me in the middle of this photography sea. The look is intense, I like it. Even the eye that is dangerously in the shadow area has good highlight in it to make it stand out. And then the way her hands makes this picture feel a little bit afraid... The lower hand is cut from the joint which is just a little bit awkward, but nothing too disturbing. Great work!

I like this one because it's different from the pictures of little people I usually see, or remember to have seen. Anyway the expression here is different from typical drooling and/or laughing, and that makes this picture work. Good depth-of-field and nice soft tones. Has the picture been partly blurred, because there is quite sharp line between the subject and grainy background? I maybe would have preferred either all-grain or no-grain options.

Just a tad contrasty to my taste, because here I'd like to see a little bit more detail in the shadow areas. But the perspective in the picture is good, as is composition too.

Steven: Well the tilting is (or was?-) only very very slight in my eyes, and depends if you look mainly those mountains or the whole picture. Great colors (as always) and I especially like that dark mountain on the left.
-
It's interesting that in my head this picture seems to be tilted to the right and those mountains feel like they are slipping out from the picture. Is just me or does anyone else experience anything similar ?-)

A good picture otherwise, but there really should be a little bit space under his feet, because now it seems that he is floating in the air.

I especially like the use of two frames before the dog.

Definitely good sky, but the lightness of the foreground makes this picture look a bit like split in two separate parts in my eyes.
-
Very good idea, which also works well... Beautiful expression on her face. Maybe just a little bit more light in the lower part of the pic would be my suggestion, because now her head (in my mind) seems to be sligthly separated from her body.

I like the way this picture builds from bottom to top. Rain enhances the dimensionality nicely too. In the foreground the man closest to the camera blends with the car and the concrete quite completely, which makes him seem little bit like pasted in to the picture. The fact that he doesn't have an umbrella and he's separated from other people there gives good contrast. I just wish that there were a bit more detail in the darker colors, although I can see that it has been a difficult scene to master.
