Looks very impressive.
I was very surprised to see the huge difference between the 1dsmk2 and the D2x. (The shot of the house in the snow)
I was also pretty shocek to see just how little difference there was between the D2h and the D2x.

Nikon SB-80DX, SB-600, SB-800. All use the same pin. The best damn system there is. No other flash can be taken off and put back on as quickly.

I ALWAYS turn the afutofocus to manual. This pulls the little screw into the camera. I have used some cheap and rather shitty extension tubes that can damage the screw.
and it cant do any harm

The photos are pretty good eh!?
In some ways I think that it may even be harder than war photography. A lot of war guys will be with soldiers and thus will have a lot of protection. Boogie on the other hand has no real protection from these guys.
Think how quickly the crack addicts could decide to kill Boogie and sell his camera?
This man has balls.
I do find it rather fanny that some people think that his work is nothing special. What the hell are you on? Crack?
Try what he has done and then see if you can do better. 99.999% of photo.net people will not even come close. me included.

F100 and a 20mm f1.8, with 1600 colour film. The other day, i said,
"oh i cant be bothered its to heavy". and what do i miss? A british cop hitting a 15 yearold girl on the head with his metal stick. No joke!

a digitally corrected fisheye,as far as i know, does not look like a wide angle.

if you can afford a digital back for it, you can prob afford to buy a new medium format system that will take the backs.

there is a HUGE bunch of stuff about this comparison, ie www.bythom.com.
i have had there two for about two years now. i think...
- for street/doc work, f80 every time.
- for sport, f100, the af is amazing
- for bad weather etc, f100
- for fun/everyday stuff - f80 (less expensive it if gets stolen/damaged)

yes the mb-16 (f80 grip) does take 4 aa's and can take rechargables.

n/(n-1) = golden ratio
so 2 * 3 is used as a close approximation.
have a read about it, its a very very fascinating number.

i have seen a lot of amazing pictures taken with a d70, so that must be proof that the viewfinder is not restrictive,

pro strap will be fine,
you will not need anything else. just hand over you cash and off you go.
ps.
also look into the tripod straps that optec make. they are really really good.
2nd ps. i suggest you get the black strap.
a) black is the best

get a used 85mm f1.8 or f1.4 if you can find it. get the normal af one, dont bother with the d versions.
wonderful for people and a lovely 130mm f1.8 on a d70.
