  1. this photo really really reminds me of a war photograph taken my Don McCullin in 1964. its of two Turkish defenders in Limassol, Cyprus. i think you would feel a little strange if you saw it. its in most of his war photography books. very bizzare

i think it would work a lot better if you took it at snap, for the non bmx, when the gate slams down and the race begins. snap when they have all their pressure on their leading food, ready to go. or maybe try snapping at the last doubles, its always the most exciting part of the race
  2. if this were in black and white i think that i would be much more powerful. and with a dark yellow or maybe even a red filter i think that you could really bring out the skies. and as a final point, i think that you need to get closer to these massive statues to show just how large they are. sorry about all the negative stuff, but its a very good picture. i have not seen a nice picture of it in a long time.

1)she would not have blood on her hand, it would be all over her wrist too. 2)dead people tend to loose all motor function and holding a knife well.... and 3)why is she smiling
  3. this might be me but for some reason i fnd the motor bike to be a real distraction, i find this with many pictures it is almost as if objects which depict the time of the picture are not as pure or as 'good' as ones which without the photographers information would loook right in any century, maybe this is just me, otherwise well done

its a nice picture and all, but i feel that the statement you are trying to put over to the audience is too obvious, you know what i mean, anway this is a personal opinion and should be trated as souch
  4. good picture, might be a good idea to use fill in flash on the foreground on the horses.but if you are going for a dark and natural picture its good. i have tried to capture this monument for the disabled in london many times! well done
