I found the composition pretty... funny and unusual. Fortunately all of the elements were in place, all I had to do was to lower the tripod and fire away!
I hope you enjoy it!
Comments greatly appreciated.

I liked very much the light combination, and I really hoped a strange (yet nice) effect would come out of it.
Comments are greatly appreciated

this is an attempt to produce a nicely toned image from a digital picture. comments regarding photographic issues, as well as PS improvements, are welcomed.

I've done some experimenting in Photoshop with this image. Although I cannot decide between the sepia and the b&w images, they are both better (in my opinion) than the original.
I would like some comments on what do you think about these two. What went wrong, what I can improve, etc.
Thank you.

woaaaaw! it's absolutely amazing.
-
nice picture, however I think that this tight crop doesn't help the subject. It's a shame you cut the cross on top and the palm tree in the left... some subjects require a bit of space to "breathe". that's only my opinion though.

very interesting picture. the buildings give a nice suggestion of needles puncturing the sky.
-
nice colors! I think that I would choose to shoot from a lower position, so that the needle would stand more proeminent on the sky...
-
very good use of a wide angle.
beautiful!

you captured a very tale-like photo
-
superb! the reflection works flawlessly in your photo!
excellent work.

very beautiful colors and excellent composition

thanks for your comments.
I really tried to capture - as best as I could - the magic feeling I had when I entered this old building...
glad you like my not so perfect glimpse of it.
-
this is my first attempt at b&w.
critique, advice and your impressions are MOST welcome.
thank you

Very nice picture. In my opinion however the colors in the lower half of the frame are too shifted.
-
I think it's perfect. No need for more cropping (in my opinion). If this is your first macro shot, well... I cann't wait to see the next ones!
-
Extremely interesting perspective and nice depth layering.
Good work!

Very... eerie. I never saw this kind of colors until now.
Nicely done.
-
I think the light is a bit too harsh. Maybe later in the evening this setting would be really beautiful.
-
I can almost feel the "freshness" in this shot.
I think the composition is very good, however I would like a landscape shot as well.
keep up the good work!
-
he he :) I too wish I missed the fingers but unfortunately I didn't see them on the LCD... but these blunders just make me want to redo the shot (and maybe come out with something better).
thanks for the comment
