I agree, but just imagine this picture 20-25 years from now... What will our cars look like? Will we look at this mini-van and laugh? ... or will we think they were great cars? (in comparison to what we will be driving in 2026 or so...)

Old bank off the courthouse square in Granbury, Texas

Looking Southeast toward Walnut Springs from the Somervell County
Courthouse.

These two dogs were standing guard over their masters pickup at a
local Home Depot. They perked up and posed for me when I walked up
with the camera.

Nah, the moon's great! Just remember any time you do a time delay shot with the moon, you will record it's movement! ... even with as little as 30-seconds.

This is about a 5-minute exposure. I liked the pickup under the
street light with the curve in the road behind it.
-
A lot of mixed lighting from different sources; street lamps, mercury
vapor, sodium vapor, etc.

3 guys watching a ww1 biplane take off at a Fly-In near Krum, Texas.

I did this several years ago. Going through old negatives that I
never printed and scanning them now.

I shot this using the 4x5 and a Calumet 6x9 roll film holder.

Notice the crisp, clean line of the shuttle here as compared to the
line from crash footage.

Scanned from Kodak Portra 160NC 4x5 sheet film. Used photoshop to
lighten the foreground.

Scanned 4x5 neg and used photoshop to fix the 2 windows with the neon.

Looking South toward Peoria from East Galesburg exit. Scanned
with Epson 2450 from Kodak Portra 160NC 4x5 sheet film.

I set this up with the pilot. The only manipulated light is a
droplight that one of the crew added in the nose to balance it up. I
am still amazed that the aircraft is as sharp as it is for the
duration of the exposure, about 3-minutes on 4x5 Kodak Portra 160NC.

I did this trying out a few ideas with a flash on a time-delay
exposure to see what it would do.
