Every model of camera sounds different.
-
Use the timer function.
-
Just buy one. or two or three, one has to work right.
-
2 responses (actually make that 3 as of now) that offer absolutely no help to you.

Why can't there be a sticky about these types of threads...and if anyone did know about any
new equipment there would already be a topic about the new 5D or whatever. Go take
pictures.

I have bought 2 things from KEH (not including lens caps and smaller items)
-Canon 28-70 Mk I 3.5
-Sigma 14mm 3.5
Both of which I was completely unsatisfied with,
The 28-70 stopped working on the first day that I received it and when I returned it they
have horrible return set up, even
after you send your item in and they receive it take 2-3 weeks for it to be processed and
they returned the wrong amount to me and never corrected it.
The Sigma 14mm one of the lens elements was very very hazy...unacceptably hazy...
If you buy anything from them, test it IMMEDIATELY!

this is a waste

Hi. I work at a camera repair service center...the 10D and 20D shutter assembly is identical.
The part numbers are different but every component to the naked eye is the same and 96%
plastic. How it could ever last twice as long as a 10D shutter is non-sense and hearsay.

Possibly a dumb question. Are you ejecting the cards properly after uploading?
-
Get another 50 1.8, what is another $80?
Besides you compare it to lenses costing $350, $600 & $1100?!?!
-
You need to update to the latest firmware to troubleshoot.
-
B&H often has older cameras for sale for quite sometime because to get the discounts they
do they buy cameras in very very large quantities and usually have many leftovers.
-
What firmware are you using?
-
Did your camera and accessories come with the owners manual?
-
Also something to consider is that not all speedlites cover all of the 10D's focus sensors.
-
I had one on my 10D and had to sell it after a few months, i never got used to it, the
viewfinder was just to small after adding this accessory on an already small viewfinder.

Awesome, i know what you mean about using awesome equipment...I went to my first PMA
this year and the Canon booth was amazing in one place i got to play with tilt shift lenses,
15mm fish-eye, ridiculous zooms and the new bodies. i went one whole day and it was still
not enough time to see all the things there.
-
Did they stop including lens caps with L series lenses?
-
From what i understand they aren't true ISO/ASA values so they are not on by default...but i
could be wrong
-
go with the 10D the body is much better
-
that is old news
-
Yeah i spoke with a Canon Rep at PMA a few weeks ago, and he said it was going to get a 300
rebate very soon and it wasn't going to need to be bundled with other stuff.

What "we" want?

Maybe if anything a EF-S fisheye, but there are options from third parties. Besides its just as or even more specialized than a 17mm or 24mm TS-E.
24-70 IS on a crop body its an odd focal length if you ask me. Go with the 17-55 2.8 IS
200-400 you know there's a 100-400 right?
They have around 70 lenses. I don't have time to check but that's probably more than any other manufacturer.
