I was lucky enough to catch this superb light with my camera...

I didn't give them the oranges :).A nun did that.

And thank you for your suggestion.I did the same thing in Photoshop but not so radical.I don't know why I like it more this way.

And I must say that this photo wasn't intended at all to be mystical/biblical.I just saw those rays coming through the window and I said to myself:"I have to take a picture of this...".And I asked these folks to came and sit there.They did and here is the picture...:)

of course,it isn't the only one I took,but I think is the best of this serie.

Super composition&colors

An(almost)abstract composition with most usual objects...

I could't do anything with that "design"of the door.If I would have"lined"the top of the door with the frame,then left and right would have been wrong(look at the alternative posted above).

Finnaly I chose this option with left and right aligned with the frame and with top and bottom as you see because I think that those"wrong"lines"have a powerful suggestion,sustaing the ideea of this photography!

 

...because I needed somehow to suggest the condition of their living.It isn't for nothing that first comment I put"(still)Innocence in poor condition of living..."because they are,indeed,very poor.That's why this frame...

Frumoasa lucrarea DAR(iti dai seama ca urmeaza critica...)parerea mea e ca e cam 2D.Simteam aici nevoia de niste elemente in perspectiva(desi exista totusi o perspectiva cromatica).Si poate elementul din jumatatea superioara avea nevoie de mai mult spatiu deasupra lui.
