I have to do it as my eyes are going on me, so i need to sell my M gear I used to sell here alot however I

see there are no more for sale listings allowed , is the classified section good or should I use ebay. Thanks

Just like title says camera overexposing by exactly 4 stops and only

in the "P" Mode I have tried re-setting every thing and cannot get it

to stop. is there something i am missing or should i send it in for

service ? thanks

when module is on the R8 it will only fire shutter with the button on crank release, not one on

front of body or on DMR am i missing something??

Jack M and Mitch are obviously complete insensative .... well you get the Idea.

I know Daniel personally. He is a good kid, yes thats right kid and he is excited. His

choice of words may sound a bit over the top as it is just a camera. But he has saved and

worked really hard to get his first Leica and deserves a little respect not a trashing.

I don't know Jack or Mitch personally but you guy could cut the kid a little slack and act

like decent human beings.

Just a rant that I thought I would share......I sent my M6 classic to Leica NJ for a well deserved

CLA. about 3 weeks later it returned sealed in the little plastic bag they ship in. I didn't even

have to open the bag to see all the crap in the viewfinder , dust, dirt specs and even an

eyelash. Needles to say I was mad. Just so happened to be a Friday the day Tom our local

Leica sales rep stops by the store. Being the great guy he is he calls NJ and gets me a call tag

to send it back. So 2 weeks later she comes back and eyepice is clean but low and behold the

light meter only works 2 out of every 3 shots. after the second shot the LED's dont light up.

So now it is on its way back to NJ for the 3rd time. For $350 for the CLA , I really expected

alot more from Leica than this. I guess Quality control is on hold in NJ?

Yea seattle is bad stuff for the lab and the results i have seen from c-41 seattle isn't too hot

I would get the Leicavit, without a doubt, easier on the camera , plus i can't stand th eway the

winder button pops up after each shot, the leicavit is just smoother and way quieter, plus you

can sell it for alot and use the $ to get an sf-24d or a used sf-20 and still have enought left

over for a sweet luigi half case for that sweet m7 you have:)

like the other guys said, use the lens and forget about the dust you will never see it in your

pics

congrats and nice shot, glad to hear a nice comment about the camera just got mine

yesterday, and after seeing so many bash it for cost/sharpness etc. was feeling a little alone ,
