  1. What do you guys think of the Mamiya C3 as a beginning medium camera

for a beginner? They're selling a used one (obviously) at a trusty

camera store here in San Diego called "Nelson's Photo Supplies" for

$145. First of all, is that a good deal? Second, How is it as a

beginning camera? and third, It's a double lens, could that be much

of a problem? Oh yeah and it comes with a 80mm f2.8 if im not

    mistaken.

  2. what's the difference between a condenser enlarger and a regular

enlarger? Also Im thinking of starting a darkroom in my dad's

storage room in the backyard... There are about two complete darkroom

kits that Beseler is selling, one is nearly

    $500 http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bh5.sph/FrameWork.class?

and the cadet one for a mere

    $219 http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bh5.sph/FrameWork.class?

what would be the difference with the two enlargers?

  3. I bought a circular polarizer today and I was just wondering if Its

ok to put my UV filter on top of the polarizer to protect it and to

make it more convenient. Will it affect anything?

Also, Ive seen this F80 advertised with a flash sync of 250, and

whenever I try to make my N80 go higher than 125 with the built in

flash it doesnt let me.... does the F80 have a faster flash sync or

is it because i dont have a flashgun?

  4. Ok So i bought an N80 with a Quantaray 28-90 because its all I can

afford. I was going to get the 28-80 Nikon G lens but the store rep

said I shouldn't get the G lens because it doesnt have an aperture

ring so i can manually adjust it. So i got the Quantaray with an

aperture ring, but the thing is, it has to be set on F/22 for my N80

to work. If it's set elsewhere i get a F EE flashing on my screen.

Is there anyway i can control the aperture manually rather than on

    the dial?
