That is Rambur's Forktail Damselfly. I even have one in my port. Nice job.

I agree with the previous comment 100% because it is very distracting in this case so unless this was for a factual account of the game for a newspaper then a little bit of Photoshop would easily solve this problem...select it very carefully and black out the area similar to the area to the left of the ball. I love the stop action of the ball at the end of his fingers. Not an easy capture even if you have a camera that shoots 8+ frames per second. Good Timing & Luck went into this one.

Lovely photo, yes...BUT I HAVE SEEN THIS BEFORE. Not sure where I have seen this before but...If an idea is taken from someone else, I think they should be credited...
Still a very nice photo though.

I think this guy looks really cute. Great Capture! I have a photo of one of these creatures in my folder. He was on a fence too but it was at night. I really like the feet. Good Job!

My main subjects are of nature and I hardly ever use slide film or film speeds lower than 400 because I want to stop any action possible. I also do not own any 2.8 lenses hence my need for a higher film speed. This is an awesome capture, not something I would have been able to do because of my use of higher film speeds. I really like it. Great affect!

Great White Herons have Yellow Legs. Great Egrets have black legs, this is a breeding Great Egret due to the black legs and long, lacy, white plumes on the bird's back.
