I really like this shot and the way it was lit. Even though her face is in shadow I can still see all the detail. I would like the crop to be a little to the right, so that her elbow isn't in shot but her right butt cheek is. -
Great to see an Aussie up there in POW!! I agree with above poster that the white broder is a little distracting and doesn't define the edge in a satisfying way. Somehow I want a slight brown wash over it to convey a little warmth to really give me that old wood feel like the tree people in Lord of the Rings. -
I recently shot a wedding for the first time, and this was the
bride's favourite shot with the wind exposing the tatoo. Am I going
to make it as a wedding photographer? You can always be polite and
say 'Jon, you can never have too much practice'.

The image is sensational with the perspective of the wide angle, but I agree with Patricia, the modern white boat takes away some of the feeling of a more classic timelessness.

I was originally going to take this photo late at night with no
people present, but I decided they might give this viewpoint a
recognisable sense of scale. What do you think? Any other input?
