Nice angle, Bruce. As a native New Mexican, I spent many a day in the Gila and visited the cliff dwellings too many times to count. Thanks for bringing back some memories.
-
Is he from Baltimore?
-
You're making me homesick with these New Mexico photos - well done!
-
Excellent image that makes my heart ache. (Would you consider downsizing your images a bit before uploading for those of us without fiberoptic broadband?)

I'm pretty sure that's not a gull - gulls don't have necks like that. Possibly an egret.

This is beautiful - I love the layering. I would only suggest that you downsize your images before uploading them so they don't take SO long to load for those of us who don't have 100MB broadband service. Thank!

Low angle light (early morning or late evening). Will always change the scene - usually for the better.

Love me some Hatch Anaheims! My wife says I'd put them on ice cream. (Las Cruces native.) I'm jealous.

Ray,
I think it's a violation of Photo.net rules to put a link to a commercial web site (where you have images for sale) on a photo or portfolio on Photo.net. It could get you marked as a spammer. Beautiful photos, though.

The AT-1 was my second SLR... and one of my favorites. It recorded many a happy memory for me.

Thank you, Laurent. I consider that a tremendous compliment coming from a photographer of your caliber.

As a full-time RVer, I appreciate this photo. What really surprises me is that the tow vehicle appears to be some kind of old body on a VW chassis with an air-cooled engine!
-
That would be "Acadia," not "Arcadia."
-
I grew up in the Rockies ('50s and '60s) doing this. It's only real "cowboy coffee" if that pot doesn't have a percolator in it and you have to strain the coffee through a bandanna... Great shot.

Very interesting series (and my wife really enjoyed the photos). Are these current or retro on flim?
-
I would say both. I did the vast majority of my flying and sailing before GPS was available to the civilian population. Now that I've become dependent on my RV GPS, though, I would have a hard time going back to charts.

Sometimes called a "Flemish flake" by sailing enthusiasts. Interesting photo.

I recognized that view immediately! The Organ Mountains are beautiful driving in from the west on I-10 to Las Cruces, NM (my home town).

Other than the way she's holding the camera (and she won't have a level horizon), the fact that there's no fence, and the lioness doesn't look overfed? I can't think of anything...
-
Crab - not lobster.
-
Nice photo, but the unlevel horizon (and resulting skewed verticals) detracts a bit.
Is PN dying?
