Thank you all for the comments. As for the red ring around the sun it is bothersome to me as well. It was present in the original raw file and exaggerated after post processing. I have not seen this in any of the shots where I used a graduated filter witch I would have used if it were not sitting on a rock on Maui. I am lucky that is all I left on the beach during a heavy rain storm.

Spectacular sunset! My only suggestion would be to crop the top a little lower I find the dark blue sky a little distracting. At first look it looked like the sky had been photoshoped but after reading the tech data I now see the light. Two minutes at sunset very impressive. Thank you for providing so much technical data it is a very good learning tool. cMurdock

A little more contrast I think would really bring this to a higher level. And lens flare, streak of light or what ever it is needs to go. Otherwise I really like this one.

Beautiful color. I have tried lighting shots a couple times with very little success. You should be commended for being in right place at the right time and capturing the scene so well. I do find the branches on the left to be a little distracting. Or maybe I am just jealous?

The detail and subject are great. Im just felling like the comp is too tight or to centered. If it is possible I would suggest a horizontal of the same subject. Good luck.
