Greetings from LA
Ian - I like the idea of both of your series -- you might want to take a look at the work of
Ernest Hass or Atget, to see how they used every day urban items to tell a story.
Thanks

Folks
I own an Arsat 30mm from my Kiev 6 days - if I mount it on my Nikon D80, any idea what lens size that
translates as?
Will it still retain any "fisheye-ness?"
Thanks

Folks
Will be visiting Old Lamu next month, yipee.
Plan on shooting digital - Leica C-Lux, Nikon D80 - but would love to shoot film through the Widelux.
If they have mini-labs, I can shoot film and get it processed there, Otherwise, take my chances with the X
ray dance at airports.
Comments?
Thanks

Avoid the more well-known landmarks, go for the areas near Bastille and Republique or
the suburbs so you can get out of the tourism bubble.
Take the 35 or wider, have it pre-focused, you'll either shoot full auto or single shot.
Ditch the camera bag, fanny pack, etc., keep the body discretly under your jacket and try
to blend in.
Have yourself a Ricard for me at any tabac!

What amazes me is that this person took the time to complain, but not post a rebuttal photo.

Mmm, notice how the REDS came out stronger with the CCCP-'flex?
Thanks,

Please email me a JPEG, or postcard, of the last image with RR, the Betamax and intercom.
There's something oddly familiar about the image.
Thanks
