I'd go with keh.com

Check out my Rollieflex TLR Price and Info Guide
, but remember you will pay a bit more from a dealer ( you are getting their reputation and w.arranty-if any)

Stephen - that "built in resistance" is actually a "bump", built in to the lens to notify the user that you are going beyond the focusing capacity of the camera, and you are own your own with focusing :>

sorry, then you need the same plate holder, but for that size. These are glass plate holders no cut film holders - thats why its so far off. Even when you find the correct holder, you are going to have to shim the paper in the holder ( to place it where the 1/8 inch thick plate was held. Again, search ebay....most premo holders had Premo markings on the darkslide. Good luck

I am a long time film guy turned digital and had the same questions about RAW. Again, RAW means nothing has been done to alter the image - you need to add sharpness, if you like. You may not add any sharpening or a whole lot - depends on what you want as output. My process is:
1. shoot raw
2. open in PS elements 5
3. Simple quick Unsharp Mask adjustment to image
4. adjust color/contrast/crop
5. Resize for output
6. Apply final sharpening via Sharpness/Lens Blur
7. Print

You need a 4x5 wooden plate holder which are actually VERY common on ebay. Seek one marked Rochester Optical or PREMO 4x5 plate holder....

see this auction....( dont know seller )

Yes, prior to the 42mm screw, Pentax ( Asahiflex ) utilized 37mm screw mount lenses.

looks like a piece of the leaf shutter broke off. I would NOT trip the shutter as that could move the piece or scratch the lenses inside. I would take to any competant repairperson, and they should be able to easily remove it and hopefully repair/replace the leaf shutter

Thanks for everyone's help. I have verified and changed some items based on your input - thanks. Tito, I did find a new standard for sale at $ 175 at a dealer and a beat up one on ebay at $ 92 ! If you can point me to some sales that are higher, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Dan

I have created a new guide for <a

However, due to the complexity of model lines and variations, comments and
corrections are welcome. There are MANY different Rolleiflex models out there !

Thanks
