HA! Pierre, the Linden trees are only still standing at the end of the street. Most of them have been cut down to enable repairs to the U-Bahn under the street. The Brandenburg Tor can be seen at the end of the image, the construction crane at the beginning of the street is obstructing the view. As it is a tele-shot, the whole image is compressed into some unreal perspective. It was taken through light drizzle, at the end of the already darkish afternoon. Bad quality colour photos sometimes can be made 'interesting-looking' by changing them into some sort of greyscale rendition. that's my two cents... cheers Sam
