The photo was taken with a Nikon 18-200 VR lens and the distortion was corrected in Camera Raw prior to the HDR processing.

Apologies for the delay in answering the HDR question ~ as a minister, Easter is a particularly busy (and wonderful!) time for me.

This is a one-shot HDR, which is the only kind I do. Had I used more than one exposure, the likelihood is that the three figures would have been blurred in a ghostly sort of way. If you'd like a step-by-step tutorial on how I do this, please email me at chrisspracklen@me.com.
