foreground. Despite the bleached sun, I was happy with the shot.

Portrait of a Gelada Baboon, which is endemic to the Simien

Mountains in Ethiopia. Very beautiful animal. We came across a large

group and they accepted us when we were sitting in the grass at a

distance of about 10 meters!

The lifetime of balloons is not very long, unfortunately. These

Ethiopian girls on a river bank in the Simien Mountains seem to

disagree about the ownership of the one and only balloon left...
