johne37179 29 Posted May 29, 2011 What a wonderful image. I have only one nit to pick and it may simply be in the small files you can upload to Photo.net -- but I would like to see more intensity in the black background. I would not want to lose any of the depth in the highlights. Once again, and absolutely wonderful image! Bravo!John Link to comment
kombizz 16 Posted May 29, 2011 EXCELLENT capture of this mother and her little baby with fantastic facial expressions - wish they were free in their own environment rather than getting abused in captivity Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted May 30, 2011 An excellent composition that evokes many emotions. This mother seems to be getting older, loosing much of her hair, the wee one she holds so delicate, reminding me of our human babies. The Mother bears an expression that we can only wonder what her thoughts are but you have captured an expression truly that connects the viewer with this great mammal. Lovely lighting, detail and clarity....just Beautiful. You could have gone darker with the background but I truly like the DOF....blends well with her color tones.Congratulations on an excellent composition!! Respectfully, Gail Link to comment

JohnMWright 1 Posted October 6, 2011 It's a great image, but I'm not sure about the sadness part. Why do you say that? What is the background story? Link to comment
