Wonderful shot!

Excellent!!

Nice shot, but spoiled because of over saturation. Tone it down to normal values, then your results would be far superior.

Very nicely done, colour, detail and presentation.

I must say that I am very impressed by ALL your work!
Interesting, well presented and of high standard. Regards, Roger

Your last three shots are all well presented, good colour and well suited backgrounds, but in all, I would like to have seen slightly more sharpness.
But nice work, regardless of my comments. Regards, Roger

Well framed with good composition. Interesting with nice colours. Unfortunately, the shadow on the right spoils the result.

Brilliant! As are all your Macro's

Well, I guess I have to keep my hand in shape!...Regards :-(

As usual, Illona........beautiful work!Great use of tone.

An 'awesome' opponent, I would say! Yes it is a composite. Just playing a little. Thought of a way to show her rifle shot and it's result on the target, in one photo. Roger

Beautifully captured shot. His expression and the way he has his hands, says it all. He is crying out for help.
Composition , colour, detail and light are all good.
I would however suggest a slghtly tighter crop, more to give your shot balance, than anything else. Nice work.

This is an excellent example of filter use with PS.
You have produced a very nice result. Using the blue tone and added edge lines are very effective. Lighting and composition are terrific. Nice work.

Nice John, but it would be better if you brightened it ---as in Snow 1

In line with the 'Old Masters'. Outstanding!

this is ...Sublime, Empyrean!! Well done Ken

The lines that suddenly appeared are because your scanned image is now a 'Digital' image. As with all digital images, it is made with Pixels. If you take the physical method of 'screening' a print for printing (in a newspaper or magazine) the result is obtained by using a 'screen' made up of dots. (Use a magnifying glass on any photo in a book or newspaper - you will see that it is made up from these dots)Now if you were to take 2 of these screens on top of each other, you would get a "moire" (wavey) pattern. In effect this is what you have here. The fine lines of your shot (made up from pixels) and the computer screen - also made up from pixels. ...Result = MOIRE. (Nothing to do with Contrast)
Does this help you understand?
Keep up the nice work.

Excellent...Composition, detail and colour.

Very well done. In my opinion the shadow should be 'less definite', and maybe a lighter shade. But overall, it is a strong and dramatic shot with a sense of suffering.
