  2. <p>Whats up guys. I got a question regarding getting certain sections of a photo to pop out in to a zoom like window. Kind of like ahotspot on the photo so when you click it, an enlargement of just that section pops up. Ive attached an example that may help to show what I'm looking for. No ball busting on the text. I just put that in as a place holder.</p>

makers. we were sent some rugs with some thick shiney silver thread in them. we shot the rugs flat from over

head but I can not get the silver thread to sparkle.it just comes out silver and white. the Client wants the rug

shot flat but still have some sparkle coming off of the threads. I've tried shooting it with some cross light but

still dosent work. any Ideas on this? here is a link to a photo of the rug.

  6. My question is if there is a technique for mimicking natural light (window

light) with strobes. I have a catalog photo shoot coming up for a rug company

and they are really looking for photos that have a natural look to them. The

designers gave me the Room and Board catalog as an example.

  7. I was on vacation last week and was shooting family photos at the beach when

the autos focus quite working on my canon 10d. All it does is hunt back and

forth with out locking on to anything. I tried changing lens cleaning the

connections and resetting the camera but it still won?t focus. Anybody got any

ideas on what might have caused this and what to do to fix it.

    Thanks Kenny

  8. Well i shot some more bikes. A little earlier in the day than last time. I got

alot more speed and dof on these shots. when these guys are doing 20 or 30 mph I

can get a good sharp shot. but when I get off three shots of a bike coming in a

turn at 65 mph towards me or away, Only the first shot is sharp. This i think is

a focusing problem now more then stopping the actoin.

Is there a focusing mode you guys would suggest. Had some new guy come by and

tried to show off for the camera. and laid his bike down doing 80 mph. He slide

    120 ft. not good.<div>00L5jF-36458884.jpg.7aef82f1b378bed97f0dcf2ba88b1837.jpg</div>

  9. Hey guys. I live in the north GA mountains. I have been tring to get photos of

the guys riding street bikes up the mt roads. I'm getting some good shots of

them in curves and stuff but the problem is that they never seem to be super

sharp. What do you guys feel is the min on shutter and ap. to totaly stop the

    movement and have enough dop. 250 @ 5.6 ?????

  10. "If so, my 10D red channel goes a little nonlinear near the top of the histogram and gets saturated about a half stop sooner than the green channel."

This is what is happing to me on all my shots. maybe the example I put up wasnt the best. here is another shot I did same lighting and underexpoused a half stop. the red channel jumps out again. I have the white balance set to the 5600k lights I'm using.<div>00AgDz-21235284.jpg.44bb384b3985c73d9da01072fe6eb5cb.jpg</div>
