gary fong demonstrated the difference of the 16 bit technology on his website... the

dynamic range is definitely better... which is especially good when dealing with white

dresses...

yes i know that almost every one is frustrated with fuji and their releasing this after

soo long... i am a bit different in that i didn't have the money until now... and this

will be my first digital SLR so... i am very optimistic.

the proofs came out great.

i had a lab pull one stop on all six rolls.

i am not very technical...

but the density change listed on the back of the proofs was 1 or 0 sometimes 2 but

never a problem

there was a "wedding dress" so i think pulling some might be a good idea

it wasn't white white... but a one stop pull may put me in a safer zone...

and pulling one roll as a test sounds good...

the small lab that does my proofing on a fuji frontier has pushed for me before

but never pulled. hmmm not sure to ask them or not... i still want my proofs

made there but not sure i will get the same deal if i hand them processed

so... i thought it was on dx... only to find out rolls later that i had been shooting

at NPH a t 100 iso on a sunny day...

i have been reading a lot of threads on Nph... but never has this question

been answered...
