  1. <p>I've done several paintballs events recently. To get a decent pellet trail or 'freeze' a pellet I shoot at a minimum speed of 1/300 and it goes all the way to 1/1000. ISO is normally pushed up to around 500 (I'm a regular shooter at a local woodsball arena in Malaysia) .<br>

    A fast zoom lens i.e. f2.8 would really help. Also try to keep yr composition as tight as possible. You will need to experiment to get the shots you want. It's definitely a 'hits and misses' affair, at least for me.<br>

    <br />I'm yet to shoot a speedball game but i'm sure the light conditions are much better and increasing your chances of freezing those pellet trails.
