A great film. I've been using it for about 15 years now in both 120 and 35mm. Those rich creamy whites and deep blacks are hard to beat.
One of the best aspects of the film is that it responds well to many developers. I started with HC-110 dilution B ( still one of my favorite combinations ),wonderful in Rodinal 1:50 or 1:75 but I really like it in PMK especially on sunny days. Virtually grainless negatives and highlights that won't wash out.
I will say that in my opinion you should pick one developer and play with it. Determine which film speed and development combinations are right for you. They say getting there is half the fun, enjoy!

As a long time user of medium speed b&w films ( FP4 and APX100 ) I
would like to try a faster film with different characteristics. I
have decided to focus on TXP-120 having heard mostly good opinions (
and some bad ) about this film.
I develop my films using Rodinal and PMK and would like to stay with
either or both of these
Before I begin testing to determine my own personal speed and
development times I would like to hear from others who have played
with this film and would welcome any advise.

I have been souping my FP4+ 120 in HC-110 dilution B for sometime now
and achieving good results. Grain has been almost a non factor,
resolution has been outstanding, even with large prints, and the
highlights are to die for. The one area that has been a problem is
contrast which even with lots of testing and with variations in
agitation/development, metering, and speed settings is still a little
high.
I would still like to stay with this film/developer combination
because I feel that I can get more out of it. One area that I would
like to play with is higher HC-110 dilutions. Has anyone try this at
1:100 dilutions or higher? I need at starting point to begin my
testing
So long Bronica!

I'm not sure if this is the proper place to post this but I feel that
I must say something. I was saddened to learn today of another
casualty in the march of time and technology, Bronica.
I bought an original ETR( a used one ) way back when we were all
wearing Members Only jackets and MTV didn't make us want to vomit. In
spite of having me for an owner this product line in the 2+ decades I
have owned it has been nothing short of remarkable. It has been
dropped, bashed, crashed, kicked, and in one case, pissed on. I have
found the optics to be first rate, the mechanics sound, and the
design still makes it a pleasure to use.
I will take some joy in the fact that this camera will live on in
reruns for some time joining other icons such as the Stooges and WWF
wrestling. Thank you Bronica or as we say here in Boston you were
wicked pissa
