This is a great family shot. It is framed well and each expression is captivating. I like how the littlest one is looking right at the camera. My only issue with this is the extreme lighting around each person's eyes. It look as though each one has just been to the bathroom to powder their noses. I'm not sure if you have added this effect or not. But personally I find it very distracting. Otherwise this is a great shot. Thanks for sharing.

I have to agree 100% with Janice. 3D... very cool. Name and date, color ok... I would have gone with a different font. It seems to thick and bold for this delicate flower. The pink and maroon are very contrasting. Great job. I like the picture behind the picture. Great idea. You do great work. 7/7
  1. Thanks for writing... yes you are right. This shot does call for a story... and I am so glad you asked. ;)

This is not an event at all... it's Epcot (Orlando, FL). I honestly can not remember where it is in Epcot. I think it is in the Horizons eating area. It is a two story building... I took the shot from the second floor. I just fell in love with the bright, vivid colors.

Very good shot. I like your rotation on this. It adds a very unique approach. Too bad that pole (I think that's what it is) is blocking... but the more I look at it, the more I find it to be intriguing. It adds a different linage. I guess it might be possible to clone it out... it would take some work. Thumbs up to a good shot none-the-less. Keep it up. 6/7

Great Idea. Two thumbs up for your creativity. Great shots of the girl too. But I'm more impressed with the way you present this. The Title is very befitting. 7/7 Congrats on a job well done!

Robert is right... the sky does have a very Van Gogh appeal. That's what attracted my eye. i like your approach here. However, I would have maybe feathered or faded in the sky so that there isn't such a harsh, drastic line between the ocean and sky. It tends to split the picture for me. Very cool and artistic approach. Thumbs up to you. 6/7

For a second there I thought I was looking at my photo. I have a similar shot in my portfolio of these same 'hot air balloons' (I have enclosed). Unfortunately you have not really captured the colors here. I only say this because I've personally seen this. I too was very intrigued by the bright, vibrant colors. I do like your angle. You must have been on the first floor shooting up. If I remember correctly I was on the second floor. Maybe you can bring into Photoshop and adjust levels to bring out the color better. Good luck... Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work. ;)

  2. This is great! I did not check out the other version of this yet. But I really do love this. I have somewhat of a similar shot. Yes... this cat definitely has character. I've enclosed a shot of a cat (which is mine) with lots of character.

This has got to be the cutest little boy. This is a GREAT shot. Perfect focus. Zoom good. Cropping is great. His expression is what is so captivating. Absolutely fabulous! Job well done!

    BALI BOAT

First off... the contrast of colors are fabulous. I'm very big on bright, inviting images. Your angle is really good. I think you could have used more depth of field; blurring the cabin/house more. I would even be tempted to bring this in PS and cut out the boat completely (using a feather of maybe 5 pixels or so) and put against solid background... black might look good. Nevertheless... Thumbs up to a great shot!
