  1. Thanks to all for your comments.  It was shot on a tripod at dusk, pretty dark.  I shot at F4, wide open with the teleconverter, so I could get the max shutter speed without going above 800 ISO. Which was unfortunately only 1/125 sec.  I would have preferred to have the tail in focus as mentioned ... Ray.

Hi Ronald.  Nice lighting, nice detail, nice story ... a fantastic job. Love the eyes and the little blue collars. Bet you probably took a hundred shots to get them to stay still.  Just an awesome image.  It would sell a ton as a stock photo. Now my girlfriend wants a puppy!

  2. Hi Bill.  Now that's a great shot of the chicadee.  You filled the frame nicely. It's not easy to catch these little guys in focus, but you have done a nice job.  The flowers balance the image and the dark background enhances the color.  Nice work ... Ray.

Hi Bob.  Excellent image.  Love the sharpness, story, and DOF.  It would be even better if shot as a vertical and if the one person was completely in the frame. As is a very nice job ... Ray.

Hi Rohit. This is a gorgeous shot. The vertical works well.  Great light, I like the leading lines all the way up to the sky. The foreground could be sharper. Nice overall image.

Hi Charles.  Great detail and color.  Focus and exposure are right on.  Nice work.  A while back you asked me where I like to shoot in NJ.  Well, I live at the shore and the Spring Lake, Seaside, Island Beach areas are my favorites ... Ray.
