  1. <p>As usual, stunning pictures everyone. The bar seems to get higher every week.<br>

Our first born, just one day old. Taken last Wednesday, but I was a bit too busy to post it then!</p>

  2. <p>I love Nikon WedNEsDAy, there are just so many fantastic pictures. I haven't contributed for a while, as I sold my D70 and bought a Fuji S5 Pro. Now I know it counts, I get to join in every week.</p><div>00TTsY-138279684.thumb.jpg.7feece61661bfdb1c70db01021e41a91.jpg</div>
  3. <p>Hi.<br /> <br /> I need some help with deciding which A3 printer to buy please.<br /> <br /> I print mostly black and white, and I currently use an HP7660, which has a dedicated 3 grey cartridge, which when used without a colour cartridge produces A4 prints I am very happy with. I particularly like the fact that I can just swap cartridges when I want to print colour, which although not very often, I do still do.<br /> <br /> If I were printing just black and white I would use a CIS, but that is not an option.<br /> <br /> I have been looking at the Epson 1400 and maybe a set of MIS UT14 black inks, but unless anyone knows of a UK importer of the MIS inks, that looks to be out as well, due to the shipping, customs, and VAT I would wind up paying.<br /> <br /> I know RIP software might be one option. Has anyone any out there had any sucess making quality B&W prints from the Epson 1400? I know it's not recommended for B&W, but my budget is around £300 and for reasons I won't go into, used is not an option for me, so neither the R3800 or the R2400 are an option :-(<br /> <br /> Any advice, recommendations, helpful hints or comments, all welcome.<br /> Thanks very much.<br /> Ian.</p>
  4. Hi.

My wife hasn't been able to take a photo for over 10 years, due to an accident that left her with a disability,

including a very limited amount of use of her hands. For Christmas this year I would like to give her a camera

she is able to use, but this is proving extremely difficult.

She has no use of her fingers at all, but can push buttons with her knuckles, so I am trying to find a compact

digital camera that can use a wired remote control. At the very least it needs to fire the shutter, but would

    also ideally operate any zoom.

It needs to be a wired remote, as it is hard enough for her to hold a camera, without having to point an IR

remote back at the camera, and it needs to be a compact, as she can't hold the weight of a DSLR.

I am not concerned with megapixels, focal lengths, manual modes, RAW capability, or anything other than the

remote. I just want her to be able to take pictures again.

I have around £200 to spend, and would be really grateful for any suggestions.

    TIA.

    Ian.
