I didn't use any photoshop. I took this shot sometime around Christmas and that's probably why there were not that many people around :-)

Good shot! I like the way the color brown blends into blue as you go from the bottom to the top of the frame. One thing I may had done is make the edge of the deck coincide with the corner of the frame. Did you use a polarizer?

I know that having the subject right in the middle of the frame
makes it kinda boring. When I took this shot I was driven by the
effect caused by the clouds at the top and the dark area at the
bottom (asphalt, really) which I thought "framed" the subject
differently.
What do you think?
Would other type of cropping had worked better?
